Happiness can be found at the bottom of a cold beer, a hockey game, with some awesome poutine, and chatting with good friends.

In 2004 The Calgary Flames went to the Stanley Cup Finals. We went to a bar that was showing the game. The service and atmosphere was terrible. After years of bartending elsewhere, we decided to open our own pub to cater to hockey fans and beer fans. We wanted to make sure it was clean, and welcoming. We decided to name it The Maple Leaf immediately. It took forever to find the right location and even longer to build it out. We finally opened and have been working hard to make The Maple Leaf the best little neighborhood bar it can be. Thankfully, The Leaf has a wonderful staff that makes sure everyone is treated like not only like the wonderful customers that they are, but also the truly great friends that they are. We have had a wonderful history, and hope for an even better future. Come on in and enjoy yourself. Think of us as your best friends really nicely finished basement and make yourself at home.
